Non-metallic Systems - Quick Click
Quick click is a comprehensive range of non-metallic conduit and fittings. The Quick Click design of connector is easy to use, developed for simple and fast hand assembly, with a secure connection and excellent pull off resistance.
New to the range is PEEK, a high specification nonmetallic conduit ideal for the most demanding applications. PEEK conduit has its own specialised connector.
The wide range of connectors and conduit types ensures Quick Click has something to offer every application.
Conduits
- Nylon Conduits
Available in Economy, Standard, Premium, Standard-LFH, Extra Flexible and Heavy duty formats. The broad range offers product suitable for nearly all installations with options to allow for even the most cost conscious.
For a braided nylon conduit please refer to Screenflex 3 in the Screenforce range, or the Screenflex 1 Internal Braid for additional EMC screening.
- Standard Duty Polypropylene
A polypropylene alternative to economy duty nylon for light duty installations.
- Retro-Fit
Retro-fit is a double split skin system ideal for protecting existing installations. Available in either nylon or polypropylene.
- Jumboflex
Large diameter nylon conduit for enhanced cable capacity.
- PEEK
A specialist non-metallic made from PEEK, with excellent characteristics including a very wide operating temperature. Braided versions of the PEEK conduit can be found in the Screenforce section.
Connectors
Quick Click, fast fitting type connectors in male and female, fixed and swivel formats are available for all the conduit types except PEEK, Retro-Fit and Jumboflex which use there own specialised connector types.
Non-metallic Systems - Electroflex
The Electroflex range includes three broad nonmetallic conduit types; 150 Series, 160 series and 170 series, providing a comprehensive package of cable protection for a diverse range of applications.
150 Series
A high quality spiral reinforced PVC conduit with fittings that can be assembled by hand. Its all insulated construction offers complete protection to cables while a smooth bore facilitates fast cable insertion. 150 series is extremely flexible and can be coiled on its' own diameter without effort or damage to the conduit, neither is there a reduction in its cross section therefore protecting cables at all times.
150 Series is a UL recognised component, will not support combustion and achieves IP65 with relevant connectors. It is available in three versions:
- 150 Standard PVC in Black
- 154 Oil Resistant PVC in Green
- 158 Heat Resistant PVC in Blue
160 Series
160 Series is a reinforced PVC conduit with a smooth outer surface ideal for use in hyqiene sensitive environments where there can be no traps for dirt, and an IP65 rating makes it suitable for hose down applications. 160 Series also provides an improved level of abrasion and crush resistance over 150 Series yet is still highly flexible and suitable for repeated flexing. 150 Series is available in black.
170 Series Rhino
170 Series Rhino PVC conduit is a liquid tight system to IP67 with a smooth outer surface. It is extremely tough but is easy to work with and can be hand cut with a sharp knife.
Ideal for the food industry and corrosive environments, 170 Series is available in four types:
- 171 Standard PVC in Grey
- 172 Oil Resistant in Green
- 178 Standard PVC in Orange
- 180 Standard PVC in Black
Non-metallic Systems - Screenforce
Screenforce brings together a comprehensive range of conduits for general to extreme applications all with EMC Screening capability.
Conduits
Superscreen Types T, H and S
Superscreen offers three types of robust pliable conduits, ideal for static or limited movement installations, each has excellent EMC screening properties and a wide range of operating temperatures to suit specific requirements.
- Type T offers zero halogen content, low acid and limited fire hazard properties.
- Type H provides chemical and oil resistance
- Type S is suitable for MOD refurbishments and nuclear applications
Superscreen conduits are constructed from a double layer of leaded steel with a Kraft paper inner and either a Type "T", "H" or "S" outer cover respectively.
Screenflex 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6
Screenflex offers five types of flexible conduit in a range of materials suitable for static or continually moving or vibrating installations.
- Screenflex 1 is an internal braid for use with nonmetallic Quick Click conduit types ER- or EP- , providing additional EMC screening to standard Quick click conduit without any external alteration or appearance. The braid is supplied on a plastic former for easier insertion within the conduit.
- Screenflex 3 is an overbraided non-metallic nylon conduit providing EMC screening and additional external protection against abrasion and vandalism.
- Screenflex 4 is a highly flexible metallic conduit with a low acid PVC covering and inherent EMC screening capability. The smooth outer covering is ideal for hygiene sensitive environments.
- Screenflex 5 offers a tinned copper overbraided non-metallic conduit extruded from PEEK, a high specification polymer with excellent all round properties and an especially broad operating temperature range. This product provides excellent EMC screening.
- Screenflex 6 is a stainless steel overbraided PEEK conduit for enhanced resistance to abrasion and exterior damage.
Connectors
A range of connectors for all the conduit types is available, each ensuring that the appropriate level of EMC screening is maintained.
