METALLIC FLEXIBLE SYSTEMS
The KE system offers a full range of flexible metallic conduits and connectors. It has been designed to offer economical, high quality products for commercial and industrial users.
Conduits are available in covered and uncovered formats all with excellent crush and flexing characteristics, ideal for vibrating and bending applications.
Connectors have excellent pull-off characteristics and offer IP40 to IP65 making this cost effective range suitable for a broad range of locations.
Conduits
- KEU
Standard flexible uncovered metallic conduit constructed from helically wound galvanised steel.
- KEBF
Galvanised steel conduit with a flame retardant low acid PVC covering.
- KEBT-LFH
Galvanised steel core with Limited Fire Hazard (LFH) covering for more demanding environments.
Connectors
- KF-E for KEU conduit
Nickel plated brass connectors in straight, fixed and swivel, male formats, in addition a special ""space saver"" straight connector offers the ideal solution for installations with limited fitting space.
- KF-E for KEBF and KEBT-LFH conduits
This range of connectors includes the straight fixed, and swivel male fitting, and the space saver as for KEU, but also offers a straight female version and high IP water-tight straight male connector. All fittings are manufactured from nickel plated brass for a professional finish.
Liquid Tight Systems
An extensive range of conduit and fittings suited to not just liquid tight applications but the most demanding environments.
All the conduits listed are fully flexible with exceptional mechanical strength. The selection includes standard and specialist conduit jackets with a full range of fittings to IP66 and IP67.
In addition is the flameproof Barrier Gland for explosive atmospheres, suitable for use with any of the liquid tight conduits listed.
Conduits
- LT-PVC
A robust general purpose conduit with a high IP rating against dust and water when used with KF-F or KF-C connectors.
- RO-PVC
RO-PVC is similar to LT-PVC conduit but with increased protection from dilute acids, alkalis, and hydro-carbon products.
- LT-T LFH
A Low Fire Hazard variant which is fully compliant with London Underground Ltd.
- UL / CSA
A dual listed copper packed conduit suitable for use in the USA and Canada. Use with KF-F connector.
- LT-H
LT-H has a wide operating temperature range and is available in blue for intrinsically safe applications. It is highly resistant to oils and chemicals including Skydrol, an aggressive hydraulic oil for the aerospace industry.
- LT-S
A made to order conduit designed for MOD refurbishments and nuclear applications.
Connectors
- KF-F
Multi-part connectors made from zinc plated mild steel and malleable iron.
- KF-C
One piece swivel connectors manufactured in zinc plated mild steel with PVC sleeve.
- Gasket Assembly
Accessory to the range for metric and NPT thread applications.
- Barrier Gland
Barrier Glands are constructed from nickel plated brass with a nylon seal and epoxy resin. They provide an ideal solution for EExd and EExe IIA, IIB and IIC applications when used with liquid tight conduits.
Stainless Steel Systems
The Kopex Stainless Steel Conduit System further enhances the KE and Liquid Tight flexible conduit ranges with the benefits of 316 stainless steel. The range is particularly suitable for corrosive environments, and the flexible design means it is ideal for constantly vibrating or flexing applications.
The KSU uncovered conduit and connector can provide ingress protection to IP40, whereas the covered alternatives provide IP66 and 67 when used with either the KF-F or Barrier Gland type connectors.

- KSU Uncovered
A high quality general purpose flexible conduit, constructed from helically wound 316 stainless steel.
- LT-PVC Stainless
A liquid tight flexible conduit constructed with a cotton packed stainless steel core and flame retardant PVC covering.
- LT-Type H Stainless
Similar to the LT-PVC Stainless conduit, LT-Type H uses a flame retardant type H covering giving an improved operating temperature range.
- LT-Type T Stainless
Completing the covered stainless range, Type T includes the benefits of stainless steel liquid tight conduits with a Limited Fire Hazard covering for enhanced safety.
Connectors
- KF-E Stainless Steel Connector
A straight male fitting for the KSU conduit available in metric and PG thread options.
Made from matching 316 stainless steel.
- KF-F Stainless Steel Connector
A straight male connector suitable for all the covered stainless steel conduits, the KF-F stainless steel connector is available in metric and NPT thread types. It's robust construction makes it ideal for industrial and Zone 2 applications.
