Kopex International, a market leader in the design and manufacture of electrical conduit systems for use within the MOD and shipbuilding industries, has introduced Screenflex 4 LFH flexible covered metallic conduit as part of its specialist range.

Screenflex 4 LFH (Limited Fire Hazard) is a highly flexible EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) conduit that screens to 60dB at 1MHz and provides ingress protection to IP66 and 67.  It is constructed around a helicaly wound galvanised steel core that is over braided and over extruded with a low acid PVC covering. It is available in nominal sizes 20mm upto 50mm.  A nickel plated connector is the standard fitting with a stainless steel connector available where corrosion protection is required.

Available in black with a smooth outer finish, Screenflex 4 is ideally suited for applications within the food industry and other hygiene sensitive environments as there is no risk of dirt or other particles becoming trapped. It is temperature rated -25ºc to +90ºc in static applications and -5ºc to +90ºc in flexing applications. Indicating this conduits high specification nature, it also has MOD approval to NES: 518 Issue 3 and DEF STAN 61-112 (Part 31) Issue 1.
