In line with their continued commitment to educate the industry about conduit, Kopex International has produced a series of certified CPD (Continual Professional Development) seminars.  These are designed for Architects, Specifiers, Electrical engineers and other professionals within the electrical industry who specify, install or use electrical conduit.

The three CPD presentations are certified by the Construction CPD body and approved for use by members of RIBA, CIBSE & the IEE, contributing to their CPD accreditation points. Titles in the series include ‘An Introduction to Cable Management Systems', ‘Further Cable Management Systems' and ‘Advanced Cable Management Systems'.

The first of these presentations is the ‘Introduction to Cable Management Systems'. Topics include an introduction to the UK conduit market including basic application knowledge flexible or pliable systems, thread types, cable capacity and an introduction to BS EN 50086 & fire regulations.

Those who attend this CPD seminar will come away with a basic understanding of the conduit market, the types of conduit available, associated regulations and be able to calculate cable capacity.
